When Disaster's Your Least Concern
Your disaster and recovery plan may be a great one, but your inability to test could sink your data before any disaster strikes. Sure, you must be compliant, but in truth your move from tape backup to disk-based data vaulting could hamper your attempts to adequately test your disaster and compliance plans.

Jim O'Connor, director of Product Marketing for Bus-Tech, has written an excellent article that details the issue and offers up some practical advice on handling testing and storage. Go to the Data Storage Connection web site to download the article.
