Webcast of the Week - January 2, 2008
Filed in archive Webcast on January 3, 2008
Let's face it - 2008 has already been primed for us to be the Year We go green. I predict by December we'll be so tired of the color green we'll be longing for red, blue or even purple. No matter - we're deep in it now. In order to be good earthly citizens, we're all charged with conserving and "greening up" our immediate environments. Trust me - this push is going to be bigger than the ecology movement of the 70s (not that I'd be old enough to remember that or stupid enough to admit to it).
That's why I chose this week's Webcast of the Week. It comes to us from 3PAR, and it features Nik Simpson, analyst with The Burton Group, discussing trends in green storage and distinguishing industry hype from what storage managers are actually doing in the real world.
