Waiting to be Served
If you were waiting for the December release of Microsoft's latest software, Windows Serverlinks 2008, will be ready for manufacturing three months into 2008 and ready for public consumption...at the moment, there is no word when the servers are expected to be released to the public. In fact, the servers may not be ready for the scheduled launch event February 27. The reason for the delay - Microsoft claims the software needs more testing.

According to an article written by John Fontana for NetworkWorld, the delays may be a sign that Microsoft is becoming more cautious given the past problems of beta software.

To read more about the delay, read Fontana's article at NetworkWorld.
