This video is not real vmware specific as it presents firstly an overview of the problems virtualization solves (IT budgets, unnecessary infrastructure costs for cooling, electricity, server sprawl, maintenance, etc...). Then takes you through how virtualization works (virtualizing resources to consolidate applications, etc...). Then gives a summary of of why to virtualize (save money from procuring, provisioning, and maintaining servers, changing infrastructure is complex and expensive, resources are wasted, etc....). You will have to view the video to get the (etc..) on these.

I really liked this video. It presents virtualization in a nice way. So grab you cofee today, sit back, and learn a little about what virtualization is all about.
