Verbatim this week introduced its new TUFF-'N'-TINY USB drives, measuring 1" x 1/2" (and the thickness of a penny) and boasting capacities of 2GB (for $20), 4GB ($30), and 8GB ($50).
"It's tough in the sense that you can drop it and it won't break," writes CrunchGear's Nicholas Deleon. "It's TINY in the sense that it's small. Tough and tiny, check..."
"How so small?" asks ZDNet's Andrew Nusca. "According to the company, it's because they feature 'SIP technology which encapsulates all of the electronic components into a single miniaturized and sealed unit. As a result, the tiny drives are resistant to dust, water and static discharges.' The drives also include password security features to protect sensitive data and support Windows ReadyBoost for faster Vista bootup."
