The Case for Conferences
Filed in archive Meetings and Conferences on October 17, 2007
I've always been of the opinion that if you want to excel in your industry, you should attend conferences that deal with your issues or your industry. One of the more interesting (and to my mind more important) conferences would have to be the LOMA Distribution Technology Conference. If you work in the insurance or financial services industry, this conference is a must-attend conference. Held January 28-30, 2008 in Tampa, the conference in the past has addressed risks associated with e-signatures, strategic distribution management, SOA and distribution agility, mobile technology, channel success, and more. If that's not enough for you, LOMA's Emerging Technology Conference runs January 30-February 1, 2008 also in Tampa.
To register for the conference and view a list of proposed speakers and topics, visit the LOMA web site.
