SonicWALL Announces CDP Series for the SMB Market
Filed in archive Backup by jeff goldman on December 5, 2008

SonicWALL today introduced its SonicWALL Continuous Data Protection (CDP) Series for small and medium sized businesses.
"Though the trend at smaller companies tends to expect employees themselves to back up their data nightly to tape (when, in reality, they don't always follow that protocol), another emerging trend has people moving from desktop computers to laptops and from central offices to home offices," writes bMighty.com's Jennifer Moline. "So SonicWall created its CDP Series to deliver automatic, transparent backup and flexible disaster-recovery options."
"SonicWALL understands the very real pain-points SMBs have when it comes to backing-up, and more importantly restoring lost data," says company director of product management Chris Winter. "Based on customer feedback, we have worked hard to design an affordable, easy to use backup and recovery solution that doesn't compromise on performance or reliability."
The new CDP Series will be available starting December 15th.
