Who knows your platform needs better than you do? That's the premise behind Microsoft's online self-assessment designed to help you narrow down your application platform needs. The Application Platform Optimization Assessment will measure the following platform capabilities: data management, business intelligence, service-oriented architecture and business Process management, and development. True, it is geared toward the use of Microsoft products, but in general it is a good snapshot of where your platform needs really lie.
