OWC Launches Mercury Elite-AL Pro Mini Line
Other World Computing (OWC) has introduced a new Mercury Elite-AL Pro mini line of portable hard drives.
"The Mercury Elite-AL Pro mini Hard Drive offers up to 300MB/s data transfer speeds in a stackable brushed aluminum enclosure," writes Kenan at Macmini.com. "It also includes all connecting cables and a pretty impressive software bundle. Pricing for the Mercury Elite-AL Pro mini Hard Drive starts at $139.99. OWC also offers barebone kits starting at $89.99."
"All Mercury Elite-AL Pro mini drives come with an eSATA port, a USB 2.0 port, and a pair of FireWire 800 ports," writes Macworld’s Roman Loyola. "If you want to connect via FireWire 400, you’ll need a FireWire 400 to FireWire 800 cable, which OWC includes with the drive. OWC also includes FireWire 800, USB 2.0 and eSATA cables."
