NetApp supply chain woes frustrate users:
[A] wall street analyst, who preferred not to be named, said he'd heard that one customer was so tired of waiting for systems from NetApp that the company switched to EMC Corp.
A shortage of the larger SATA drives for the FAS3000 range of systems has kept NetApp customers waiting for delivery for up to 5 weeks, while customers were waiting as long as 8 weeks for a Nearstore R200.

I ordered 2 x 3140 Heads and 5 shelves in late November and I am still waiting after 8 weeks. I am almost to the point that it is better to cancel the order and switch to a more reliable vendor.
