NetApp supply chain woes frustrate users:

[A] wall streetlinks analyst, who preferred not to be named, said he'd heard that one customer was so tired of waiting for systems from NetApp that the company switched to EMC Corp.

A shortage of the larger SATA drives for the FAS3000 range of systems has kept NetApp customers waiting for delivery for up to 5 weeks, while customers were waiting as long as 8 weeks for a Nearstore R200.
