Missing Data?

Missing Data?
So how many incidents of lost data did your organization suffer last year? That many? You're not alone. According to an IT policy compliancelinks Group study, 20 percent of organizations suffer from 22 or more sensitive data losses annually. What they're losing - corporate, customer, employee, financial and IT security data. Worse, the data is leaked, stolen or destroyed. And guess where these losses are occurring? Right on your computers. PCs, laptops and mobile devices are the primary source of loss, through emails, instant messages, applications and databases.

The report states that most of these losses could be avoided by simply employing preventative measures. Many companies do have procedures in place, but unless they are practiced regularly, they do little to prevent loss.
