LaCie has introduced the tiny LaCie Rikiki hard drive, with capacities of up to 640 GB.
"We are part of a generation that wants more from our electronics, but in the smallest form factor possible, and with a competitive price," says company consumer product manager Anne-Sophie Marchand. "With the LaCie Rikiki, we have done just that by fitting high-performance and high-capacity in the palm of your hand, for under $100."
"The 'big' selling point of LaCie's Rikiki hard drive is size: it is tiny, occupying just 110 square centimeters of precious volume on Spaceship Earth," writes Wired's Charlie Sorrel. "That's just 4.3 x 2.9 x 0.5 inches."
The LaCie Rikki is available online in capacities of 250 GB for $74.99, 500 GB for $109.99, and 640 GB for $149.99.
