Idiot Moves We All Make
You wouldn't turn off your firewall, would you? And surely you're not storing everything on your laptop hard drive, right?

If only that were true. More often than not, the biggest security flaws we have are ones we create ourselves. By now, most of us should know that the Nigerianlinks prince who wants our bank account number in order to transfer his funds doesn't exist, right? And by now, we should certainly know that PayPal or eBay or any other company will not send us an email asking us to re-verify our bank numbers. Yet guess what? These and other security gaffes are happening every day - so much so that author Jim Rapoza was compelled to write about it in his article, 12 Ways to be a Security Idiot. Check it out. In most cases, you'll find yourself saying, "Ha! I knew that!", but one or two items on the list made this writer pause.
