Government Hack Attack
Hackers are getting much more clever. This is evidenced by the latest attack on US Department of Transportation computers, as well as thos from companies such as Booz Allen, Unisys Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co. and Hughes Network Systems. Only this time, the hackers targeted employees through job listings. malware identified at NTOS.exe was used to probe more than 1,000 computers from which the data was stolen. By targeting smaller numbers of computers, the hackers were able to access computer data without being noticed by authorities. More troubling is that the malware went undetected by anti-virus programs running on the companies' machines.

An eWeek article written by Jim Finkle details the security breach.
