Enterprise-Class Blade Servers
If you've been holding out using Blade server technology for consolidation processes because it just didn't have the capacity or the wherewithal you need, you're about to be pleasantly surprised. That's because Hitachi has come out with what they're calling an enterprise-class blade server - the first of its kind. The company's BladeSymphony 1000 is what Hitachi is calling "the first blade system specifically designed for enterprise-class, mission-critical workloads." The company has released news of the blade server along with a report that introduces us to the technology and its capabilities, and tells us how to get optimum performance from the server.

Go to the Ziff Davis web site to download the report.
