That's because Hitachi has come out with what they're calling an enterprise-class blade server - the first of its kind. The company's BladeSymphony 1000 is what Hitachi is calling "the first blade system specifically designed for enterprise-class, mission-critical workloads." The company has released news of the blade server along with a report that introduces us to the technology and its capabilities, and tells us how to get optimum performance from the server.
