If you're lucky enough to be an EMBARQ customer, you can now get 25 gig of online storage free.
embarq Media Safe <http://www.embarq.com/mediasafe> offers 25 gigabytes
of secure online storage at no additional charge for all Embarq High
Speed Internet Customers. That's enough storage for 8,000 high-quality
pictures or 6,000 songs. For high-end users, packages offering up to
1,000 gigabytes (1 terabyte) of storage are available for purchase.
25 gig is a decent amount of storage - more than enough for most people to back up their digital photos and vital documents.
Well done EMBARQ!

Embarq Media Safe started out real good, but here lately I'm unable to use it. Every time I go to use it, the site is down. I know it doesn't take 3 days for maintenance to complete, so what is going on?

I found out what was going on. The StreamLoad services (a/k/a MediaSafe) has went through some extensive upgrades both hardware and software. They are no longer go by the StreamLoad name, now they go by MediaMax. They also changed their web address. You can now go to http://www.MediaMax.com
and login. It has a few beta bugs and propagation issues, but I'm sure it will improve.
