Data to Dollars
There it goes - that whooshing noise is the sound of your IT budget Sailing out the window. But what's an IT manager to do? The words "data center" and "efficiency" have had more than a crow bar's separation between them since the dawn of the data center. Yet as data centers grow and store more data each year, efficiency is becoming more necessary.

Enter Dell and its latest research into bringing efficiency to your data center. The company's seven-page report shows IT managers how to pull efficiency from the smallest component right up to the whole of the data center itself. The report, written by John Pflueger and Sharon Hanson, addresses local utility usage limits, as well as ways to measure current usage and identifying problem areas. You can download the report at the Dell web site.
