Such was the case last week for one Ohio intern. Working at the Ohio Highway Patrol, the intern had a storage device stolen from his/her car on June 10. That device held the confidential information of over 225,000 Ohio residents, right down to Social Security numbers. While the state's governor is downplaying the incident, saying the device requires special equipment in order to access the data, no one is breathing easy. The data was not stored on a laptop, but officials are remaining mum on just what device had been stolen and why that information was in an intern's car.
