Changing the Game Plan
Some good news: IT departments are reporting a consistent 99.9 percent availability of critical business services, yet customers are still complaining about downtime. Here's something to consider: Why not head off that application outage by predicting its happening planning ahead to alleviate downtime? It's true we get stuck in a reactionary mode and often take action only after an event has occurred.
