Better in Bunches
Everything you ever wanted to know about clustered storage, but didn't know who to ask - that's what's offered on demand from Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG), a storage analyst firm. The 30-minute webcast addresses distributed clustered file systems and the advantages they have over NAS and SAN applications. The company has analyzed Isilon IQ, built by Isilon Systems, a maker of clustered storage applications. Full disclosure time - ESG and Isilon have recently formed some type of strategic alliance/partnership, so expect a bit of sales pitch to the video. Also, the video is a few years old, but the information is still worth listening to. ESG is one of the top analyst firms for the storage market, so you're getting a mostly balanced view of the product and of its capabilities.
