Bacula, the Network Backup Tool for Linux, Unix, and Windows:
I was talking with a friend of mine the other day, and he recommended that I take a look at Bacula - an open source backup Solution.
I haven't had a chance to have a good explore of its featureset yet, but it looks to be a reasonably comprehensive solution, for both Windows and Unix/Linux.
Definitely one to keep in mind, next time you're trying to setup a backup system from scratch.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has a real-life production implementation of Bacula across a decent number of machines in an enterprise environment. If that sounds like you, please either drop me a line, or leave a comment here. Thanks!
