Online backup provider Backblaze has introduced unlimited backup for businesses for $50 per computer per year.
"The company is now providing their services to businesses at the same price they already offered to individuals," writes TidBITS' Joe Kissell. "Although that may sound unremarkable at first blush, competitors - notably Mozy's MozyPro service - charge a flat rate for individuals but a per-gigabyte fee for businesses, potentially increasing their cost dramatically (and unpredictably)."
"Backblaze's primary selling-point is ease-of-use: By default, it backs up all your data, wherever it is on your Mac; it doesn't back up the OS, your apps, or system files," writes MacWorld's Dan Miller. "Backblaze for Business aims to retain that simple approach."
The service is available for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Intel-based Macs.
