Additional Storage for the Eee PC 901
The Asus Eee PC 1000 is to Debut this first week of June (should be today) and along with it, Asustek has announced they will offer the buyers of this mini-laptop additional Web based storage. The Eee does come with a modest small flash memory-based storage space, as little as 2GB, and not nearly enough to carry around music, photos, and the high volume multimedia we have come to enjoy. The initial amount of storage will be 20GB and stored on Asustek servers. While one would think you will always be close to an Internet connection to access your storage, the fact of the matter is we are not always connected. I say slap in the largest solid-state drive you can find and be done with it.
